The 2019 càntir of the 69 Festa del Càntir d'Argentona is a clay jug of the prestigious designer Miguel Milá, one of the references of Catalan design.

Miguel Milá has played a fundamental role in the history of modern Catalan design. His work has been based on updating tradition: several of his pieces have overcome the circumstances in which they were produced and remain valid today, "thanks to being born in a time when rigor and honesty were valued", says Milá. In 1987 he was recognized with the first edition of the Premi Nacional de Disseny and in 2008 he received the Compasso D'Oro in recognition of his professional career and his contribution to the dissemination of Catalan design abroad.
The 2024 càntir is a signature clay jug created by Javier Mariscal, a renowned designer who stands out as a graphic designer, illustrator, industrial designer, painter, sculptor, ceramist and filmmaker.
With a height of about 27 cm, it is made with a white ceramic paste cast and painted red. The three raw stripes stand out visually, made by scratching the red slip layer, removing the white from the casting paste. Afterwards, a single firing is done at around 990ºC.
Handcrafted from earthenware ceramic. Each botijo is delivered with its individual box personalized with the original sketch of the botijo made by Javier Mariscal herself.
Limited edition of 5000 numbered copies.
