André Ricard, Barcelona, 1929. Author of international recognition, he has designed packaging, household utensils, lighting devices, household appliances and pieces of furniture that are already part of the everyday domestic landscape. Of his works, the design of the Copenhagen ashtray edited by Mobles 114 stands out.

André Ricard is celebrated as a pioneer in Spanish industrial design. He has served as the president of the ADI-FAD association, founding president of the ADP, and as a professor at the Art Centre Europe in Switzerland.

Iconic Works and Accolades
Ricard is an internationally recognized author and designer of packaging, household items, lighting devices, appliances, and furniture. His notable works include the Copenhagen ashtray and the Olympic Torch for the Barcelona 1992 Olympics. His achievements have been honored with awards like the National Design Award and the Gold Medal for Artistic Merit from the City of Barcelona.
