The 2024 càntir is a signature clay jug created by Javier Mariscal, a renowned designer who stands out as a graphic designer, illustrator, industrial designer, painter, sculptor, ceramist and filmmaker.
With a height of about 27 cm, it is made with a white ceramic paste cast and painted red. The three raw stripes stand out visually, made by scratching the red slip layer, removing the white from the casting paste. Afterwards, a single firing is done at around 990ºC.
Handcrafted from earthenware ceramic. Each botijo is delivered with its individual box personalized with the original sketch of the botijo made by Javier Mariscal herself.
Limited edition of 5000 numbered copies.
Notice: Botijo made by mold at the designer's request, it is not made with a wheel like the traditional technique, due to this the clay wall is thinner and transpire more water than usual.
Designed with two compartments and a front organizer that features multiple pockets, this backpack allows you to keep everything organized and within reach.
Measures: 28 x 39 x 13 cm.
