Mosaics Martí

Mosaics Martí is a family-run workshop based in Manresa, Catalonia, that has been preserving the tradition of hydraulic cement tiles since 1913, when Bernat Martí i Arlandis founded a business that would be passed down through generations.

After reviving traditional handmade production in the 1980s, the Martí family has continued creating decorative cement tiles using time-honoured techniques, combining skilled craftsmanship with new designs and contemporary applications.

Hydraulic cement tiles are among the most distinctive elements of Catalan Modernist architecture. Their geometric patterns, decorative motifs and rich colours have made them enduring examples of decorative design.

At Oniricat, we have selected Petit Gaudí, a handcrafted half-scale reproduction of the hydraulic cement tile designed by Antoni Gaudí in 1904 for Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera.
