In the lobby of Casa Amatller the floor is covered with slabs designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Casa Amatller is a modernist building on Passeig de Gràcia, in Barcelona, designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch between 1898 and 1900. It is one of the greatest exponents of the golden age of modernism. The house was built at the request of the chocolatier Antoni Amatller at the time the Eixample had just opened.
